KO in the OK V is just around the corner, and this year we are making big changes to keep one of the biggest competitions in the Midwest at the top! One of the few 6-person team competitions, KO in the OK listened to our competitors and updated our design to better serve our athletes. While we are keeping the knockout style design, we are no longer erasing scores after Day 1, WOD 4, or WOD 5.
Seeding Saturday remains the same, all teams will have 3 workouts Saturday that will then seed the Scaled teams into three divisions: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. This year all scores STAY and will continue to help teams make it the final workout! Sunday morning after WOD 4, the top 16 Scaled in each division and 10 RX teams will move to the semi finals (WOD 5). This is determined by the teams’ CUMULATIVE scores. After WOD 5 the top 8 Scaled in each division and 5 RX teams move to the final workout, once again determined by the teams’ CUMULATIVE scores. The final workout is no longer winner take all, winners will be determined by the teams’ scores from all 6 workouts.
